The proposal is to replace the existing pergola on the patio area with an enclosed Garden room for members to use for watching tennis and providing tea and coffee making facilities. The Garden room will ba able to seat 12 people comfortably and will potentially allow us to generate more income by hiring out the main clubhouse for an extra day. We will try to re-use the existing pergola behind court 5 over the hedging area.
The committee is recommending the following options to members:
Option 1 – Wooden Garden Room
5.5m x 3.5m Wooden framed building with patio doors. Sink and kitchen cupboards for tea/coffee making and electric heater. Guaranteed for 10 years. The configuration of glass panels can be changed to allow more glazing on the sides.
