Looking for offers of help / declarations of expertise we may look to call upon in 2026 either as Committee persons – or as supporting members in specific areas
Just to clarify that in addition to the named Committee positions per the email/Members Notice on 21 Sept (below), the club would be delighted to hear from members who feel they maybe able to help in certain topic areas in 2026, but who do not want to necessarily be put forward for the Committee at this time (note AGM Weds 29 Oct)
We have identified that we need for supporting resource / competence –
- more IT expertise, notably in our website and operation / maintenance of Clubspark
- Venue management expertise – notably in formally administering – a) the services we buy in, and b) the club hirers
Going forward other capabilities will no doubt be required – particularly in the 2026 project to refresh / revitalise the clubhouse – so we would likely form a small working team on that and look for Project volunteers at that time to steer the task
