TENNIS LEICESTERSHIRE AWARDS EVENING

Oadby Granville Tennis Club has been nominated for Club of the Year,  and several of our teams have won their division in 2025 and will collect an award, including the Ladies 1st winning the Premier Division !

So, put this date in your diary.   All are welcome but please let me know if you are planning to attend by emailing info@oadbytennis.co.uk, in order that I can submit approximate numbers.

CLUB CLOTHING

We are pleased to tell you that we now have a new range of Oadby Tennis Club clothing available.  You can view the items and submit your orders from the club website, oadbytennis.co.uk, by selecting “Clothing” from the menu.

SPRING OPENING SEASON TOURNAMENT

The opening season tournament starts on 14th  March.  

All standard of players are welcome and if you lose your first match you will be entered into a consolation draw. 

The spring tournament format is that an event will be held on a single day as  detailed below.

Saturday 14th March; 12 noon to 5pm –  Men/Ladies  Doubles and Parent/Junior tournament

Sunday 15th March      12 noon to 5pm  – Mixed Doubles

Monday 16th March     6pm – 9pm  –  Mens and Ladies Singles

Tuesday 17th March      6pm – 9pm    –  2nd day of Mens  &  Ladies Singles (if required) 

NEW !  – ONE POINT SLAM EVENT on that evening – open to all !

Wednesday 18th March  6pm- 9pm  American Tournament & Curry night

Entry is free and if you haven’t got a partner we will try and find one for you

QUIZ NIGHT

Saturday 21 March,  7.30PM

Teams of up to 6    – details shortly 

MONTHLY AMERICAN TOURNAMENTS

Please note that we hold an American tournament once a month, usually on the first Wednesday or the month.  This is followed by curry and socialising at the club.
