UPDATE FROM EGM

Thank you to everyone who attended the EGM and also to those who sent in proxy votes

The resolution was as below:

To authorise expenditure of up to £29,000 for the provision of a Garden Room (wooden or brick) with refreshment facilities, on the patio area.

The result of the total votes was as follows:

42 in favour of the resolution

3 against

28 in favour of the brick built option

6 in favour of the wood option

8 no preference

The brick option will therefore go ahead, subject to any unacceptable (major) change to a likely increase in rates, which the Committee will check
